Who we are

This website is operated by Excite OOH Ltd (company number 14496022). London Taxi Media is a trading name of Excite OOH Ltd. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Excite OOH Ltd.

Excite OOH Ltd is the data controller for personal information submitted through this website. This policy explains what we collect through the website, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website only.

What we collect

We collect personal information only when you choose to send us an enquiry through one of the forms on this website. There are no user accounts, sign-ups or file uploads.

The campaign enquiry form, on the homepage and the Plan a Campaign page, asks for:

  • your name
  • your company
  • your work email address
  • your phone number, if you give it
  • the type of enquiry
  • your campaign brief
  • your preferred format, vehicle preference, approximate budget and desired launch date, if you give them

The private hire enquiry form asks for:

  • your name
  • your company
  • your work email address
  • your phone number, if you give it
  • your preferred date, if you give it
  • your brief

With each enquiry we also record the page it was sent from and the date and time it was received.

To protect the forms from spam and misuse, our server also uses limited technical information about each submission, such as the IP address it came from and how long the form was open before it was sent. This is used only for those checks, is held briefly in temporary server memory, and is not added to your enquiry.

How we use your information

We use the information you send us to:

  • respond to your enquiry
  • understand your campaign or private hire requirements
  • prepare proposals or quotations
  • communicate with you about the service you asked about
  • prevent misuse, spam and fraudulent submissions
  • keep necessary records of our business correspondence

We do not sell your personal information or use it for profiling. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing emails, and the website does not send automated replies.

Our lawful basis

Under UK data protection law, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to and managing genuine business enquiries, and in keeping the website’s forms free from spam and misuse.

Where you ask us for a proposal or quotation, we also use your information to take steps you have asked for before entering into a contract.

How your enquiry reaches us

When you send a form, it goes to our website server, which checks it for errors and spam. It is then delivered by email to our business inbox, with your email address set as the reply address so that we can respond to you directly.

The website does not keep a copy of your enquiry in a database. Once it reaches us, your enquiry is held in our business email as part of our correspondence with you.

Service providers

We use service providers to run the website and deliver enquiries. They process information on our behalf, for these purposes:

  • Vercel, which hosts the website and the server that receives the forms
  • Resend, which delivers each enquiry to our inbox by email

Our hosting provider may also process standard technical information, such as IP addresses, when it delivers the website to your browser.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes it was collected for, and to meet our legal and business obligations.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking technologies, and it does not set cookies to track you. If that changes, we will update this policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information. Depending on the circumstances, these include the right to ask for a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to have it transferred to you or someone else.

To make a request or ask a question about your information, contact us:

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the website or the way we handle enquiries changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
